AH-HA! NOT JUST MINE!!

The BF's fancy macbook pro's screen won't turn on!

He turns it on, and everything works like normal except the screen doesn't display anything... we do a search on how to fix it...

... k.. unplug... the ac... remove the battery... hold power button for 5 seconds... plug everything bk in... press power button.... check....

OH! now it won't even boot up! no booOooooong... nothin... now on to search for "mac won't start up"...

Tried everything they suggest.. nothin works... OK lets call tech support.... OH your warranty expired?? 49$ (USD btw) to send them a question and for them to call you back! now... will this 49$ actually guarantee a resolution?? hmmm good thing this pretty little machine cost $4K+ well worth every dollars!!

... off to the mac dealer!!! YEA! what a great way to spend a nice Satuday afternoon! (Last time i sent my mac off due to my HD failure, i waited a month before getting it back...)
